Position Summary:
The role of VP/IT Director is to ensure the streamlined operation of the IT department is in alignment with the bank’s objectives and strategic plan. The VP/IT Director will plan, coordinate, direct and design IT-related activities of the bank, as well as provide administrative direction and support for daily operational activities of the IT department. The VP/IT Director will work closely with decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective and innovative technology solutions for all aspects of the company. This position will also define and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
Essential Functions/ Key Responsibilities:
With direction and assistance from CIO
o Lead the IT department’s operational and strategic planning, including fostering innovation, planning projects, and organizing and negotiating the allocation of resources.
o Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems, including telecommunications, servers, PCs, operating systems, hardware, software, peripherals, and Office Automation equipment.
o Benchmark, analyze, report on, and make recommendations for the improvement and growth of the IT infrastructure and IT systems.
o Oversee provision of end-user services and technical support services.
o Define business and system requirements for new technology implementations.
·Develop and implement all IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provisions.
·Negotiate and administer vendor, outsourcer, and consultant contracts.
Manage IT staffing, including supervision, scheduling, time sheet approval, development, evaluation, and disciplinary actions.
·Manage financial aspects of the IT department, including purchasing, budgeting, and budget review.
·Approve and oversee projects and project portfolio.
·Maintain a high level of technical competence at all levels of data processing while striving for enhanced user productivity through implementation of new software technology where applicable.
·Attend Board, Manager and committee meetings as required.
·Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills, providing an environment of open and authentic communication.
·Provide end-user services, including help desk and technical support services.
·Respond to after-hours system problem calls. Travel to branch locations as needed.
·Adhere to all Bank standards, serving as an example to other team members, as well as to our customers.
·Represent and promote the Bank within the community through participation in bank sponsored events, philanthropic opportunities, and civic events.

Skills & Abilities
· College Degree Preferred or Equivalent Work Experience
· 5 Years Current IT Experience
· Current Knowledge of IT Operating Systems
· 3 Years Supervisory Experience in a Technical Setting Preferred, Not Required
Salary Range: $90,000 - $130,000 Annually
Your actual base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
