Dr. Jyl’s Mobile Vet Connection is seeking a highly motivated and professional front office receptionist to serve the many clients that visit our busy seven days per week practice.
Dr. Jyl’s Mobile Vet Connection is a full service veterinary hospital located in the rural/agricultural area of Orangevale, CA. In addition to our fully equipped hospital; we provide mobile services and specialize in Western and Eastern treatments such as acupuncture, VOM, ozone, laser treatments, and Chinese herbs.
The ideal candidate must be able to perform the following duties and responsibilities:
- Able to work Monday-Friday with varying shifts on Saturdays and Sundays
- Preparation and maintenance of medical records
- Setting up new clients and patients
- Maintain a professional appearance
- Attentive to client and patient needs
- Identify and work with clients in varying emotional states
- Answer and triage phone calls
- Schedule appointments and procedures
- Monitor client flow from intake to discharge
- Perform client call backs and education
- Understand vaccination protocol, basic lab tests, common diseases, and pet behavior
- Process payment transactions
- Able to use Windows based computer systems including word processing, email, and client management software
- Assist in cleaning duties of reception area and exam rooms
This position is full-time and requires working two Saturdays per month. Benefits include paid time off, holiday, and sick time.
A viable candidate must have at least one year experience working at the Front Desk of a VETERINARY hospital.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: Up to $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 32 per week
