Job Description
Duration: 6- 7 months
Responsibilities
- Supports the warehouse manager in recruiting needs
- Creates job postings and manage recruiting workflow in the Applicant Tracking System
- Completes the on-boarding process of new employees from the application and related paperwork to the new hire orientation
- Takes appropriate disciplinary action against employees who violate rules and regulations and addressing employee grievances
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Assist the HR Manager in the coordination and execution of employee engagement activities
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree, preferred in Human Resources or Business Administration
- Strong self-motivation, a team player and a quick learner.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Understands the general concept of HR function or HR-related work process.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Must be passionate about working for HR.
