About This Opportunity:  
Mosaic is looking to fill a unique role that will span several company functions. The HR/TA Generalist will support the Human Resources department with a focus on Talent Acquisition, general Human Resources administration, and office management. This position is a blended role that will provide an opportunity to contribute in a wide variety of ways, across multiple departments. In this role, you will primarily implement and facilitate effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the company. In addition, you will be responsible for guiding candidates through the onboarding process, maintaining effective communications and documentation between all departments and Human Resources, and providing general office support to the organization. 
A successful HR/TA Generalist must possess documented skill in candidate sourcing and interviewing techniques, a good knowledge of all basic Human Resources functions, and experience in supporting a growing office and staff.

What You'll Do:
    • Talent Acquisition:
    • Facilitate efficient and effective recruiting methods that meet the demands of a high growth start-up company.
    • Collaborate with department heads and hiring managers to implement recruiting best practices, including determining the requirements and responsibilities of the position, advising on selection criteria, and developing job requisition processes.
    • Build innovative sourcing and engagement strategies to find and implement the best sourcing channels and candidate pipeline
    • Ensure a pleasant, streamlined, and communicative candidate experience at all stages from screening resumes and conducting initial interviews, to assessing candidates' skills, qualifications, and cultural fit.

    • Human Resources
    • Generate official internal documents such as offer letters and Personnel Actions Forms.
    • Create onboarding plans, track onboarding progress in company HRIS, and educate newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures and general information.
    • Develop and maintain trackers and other administrative documents.
    • Maintain physical and digital files for employees and their documentsFacilitate employee engagement plans including obtaining necessary budget approval and initiating activities.

    • Office Administration:
    • Maintain supply office inventory and restock as neededMaintain accounts and communications with vendors and suppliers.
    • Provide general administrative support through consistent task management.

Preferred Qualifications:
    • At least 2-3 years of proven experience in Human Resources and Talent Acquisition, preferably in construction and/or technology, including experience with recruitment platforms and tools.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships with candidates and stakeholders at all levels.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment and manage multiple activities simultaneously.
    • A results-oriented mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality candidates to the organization and providing exceptional employee experience.
    • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring,  recruitment, and Human Resources.
Role Specific Particulars:
Salary Range: $70,000 - $78,000 annual base salary depending on relevant experience.
Work Location: This position is mostly in-person, working at Mosaic's headquarters in the Biltmore Area, Phoenix, Arizona. However, there is some remote flexibility.
Core Work Hours: 9 am - 5 pm (Arizona time) with occasional after-hours or weekend time as required by business needs.
Position Classification: Full-Time Exempt.
Reporting to: Deputy General Counsel.

Work-Environment Philosophy: Mosaic is a flex-first work environment, meaning some of the roles are worked primarily on a remote basis with some visibility to the corporate offices while others are worked physically in the corporate office or other such assigned in-person physical hub with some flexibility for occasional remote.  These schedules are pre-designed and physical workspaces pre-determined based specifically on the position and visibility needs.
