WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING - THE ROLE
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of HR professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and engagement.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment within the HR team, promoting teamwork, communication, and professional development.
- Set clear performance standards and objectives for the HR team in alignment with the company's strategic goals.
- Monitor and evaluate team performance regularly, providing feedback, coaching, and recognition as necessary to ensure objectives are met or exceeded.
- Collaborate with the VP of HR and other senior leaders to develop and execute HR strategies that support the overall business objectives.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement within the HR function and develop innovative solutions to address challenges and drive continuous improvement.
- Engage with leaders across functions to understand their needs and challenges and collaborate to develop and implement effective solutions.
- Act as a strategic partner to business units, providing guidance and support to drive business success.
- Evaluate existing HR programs and processes, identifying opportunities for enhancement or streamlining.
- Lead the implementation of new HR programs and initiatives, ensuring alignment with best practices and business objectives.
- Oversee and ensure completion of all HR compliance activities in alignment with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to:
- Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) compliance
- Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) compliance
- Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance
- Stay current on changes to HR laws and regulations, communicating updates to relevant stakeholders and implementing necessary changes to ensure compliance.
- Utilize data and analytics to assess HR performance, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.

- Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR Management; or equivalent experience required.
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership roles with demonstrated success in leading and managing HR teams or equivalent experience preferred.
- HR Certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) preferred.
