About the Role
This role supports the corresponding team lead in all activities of the IT Engineering Services department and ensure active participation in the daily business of her/his functional responsibility.
Your Responsibilities
• Administration of the Engineering VDI System , but not limited, to hardware, software and user support
• Focus on systems and application stability, security, performance, and capacity management, as well as documentation
• Manages and coordinates the deployment, and expansion of Client Server technologies, monitoring, and refinement, researching solutions to existing problems
• Provide on-site support to users in determined engineering offices
• Documentation of current and future configuration processes and policies
• Troubleshoot problems with hardware, software, network, and security administration
Who we are looking for
• 3 to 5 years of IT experience with hardware and software installation and maintenance in a multi-domain, multi-site network environment preferably automotive IT engineering support
• Completed professional education within IT sector, degree from a recognized IT program or equivalent work experience
• Technical certifications: Microsoft Windows / Linux server administration experience required. Expertise in system installation, configuration, administration, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, monitoring, and security procedures
• Application Knowledge: Citrix / VMware / Server OS expertise including installation, administration, configuration, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, monitoring, and security procedures
• Cloud experience (Azure,AWS)
