Job description

ENGIE has a job opening for an intern to work as a Revenue Assurance Analyst (Power). This position presents a distinctive chance to acquire practical enterprise-level skills and gain valuable insight into the North American Energy industry.  As part of the internship program, participants will gain valuable exposure to the retail energy industry, including the order-to-cash lifecycle implementation, business process mapping, strategy development, project management, and other related areas.

 

Reporting to the Revenue Assurance Director, this position sits in Houston, TX is eligible for a hybrid work schedule.

What you’ll do:

  • Gain insight into how departmental KPI reporting and operational controls affect Engie's Retail C&I customers
  • Learn how to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues and provide timely resolution
  • Apply business judgment in dealing with customer issues, billing problems, and data requests
  • Assist in gathering requirements and QA testing for new development on projects designed to improve billing, customer experience, and reporting
  • Provide cross-functional support to peers and departments to develop best-in-class end-to-end delivery processes

 

What you bring:

  • Must be at least a college sophomore working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or any related field
  • Must possess a 3.0 GPA or higher & be able to work up to 40 hours per week
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must have the ability to think analytically, present ideas professionally, and work in project teams

  • Salary Range: $20.00-$30.00 USD, hourly
