Summary
Cleans parts and applies various types of masking in order to prevent unpermitted blast, peen, spray, lube, or paint overspray.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Masks hardware with various types of masking to prevent overspray.
- Cleans the part to ensure the part is clean enough to allow masking and coatings to adhere or to allow effective peening of substrates.
- As applicable, uses tools to deburr the part prior to masking to allow complete coverage of coating and prevent delamination.
- Inspects the part to verify all characteristics for which he/she is responsible before signing the router and forwarding to subsequent operations
Education, Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- No experience necessary. Training will be provided.
- Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Must be a U.S. Person due to ITAR and export control procedures.
