Sanford North is recently a new Pfizer facility that serves as a Clinical, Commercial, and Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) site. It is designed to cater to the diverse needs of the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and life sciences industries, offering comprehensive services across various staged of drug development and manufacturing.
What You Will Achieve
ROLE SUMMARY
The Technical Operator 4 will be responsible for all aspects of Operations Support processes utilizing current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). The Operations Support team produces and supplies medias, buffers, and equipment kits to all manufacturing areas in accordance with the production schedule and performs all aspects of GMP cleaning within the manufacturing areas.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate and maintain production equipment with single-use materials as it relates to buffer and media preparations in addition to washing, prepping and autoclaving tubing assemblies.
- Perform GMP cleaning within the manufacturing areas.
- Perform kitting materials, materials transfer, and waste transfer.
- Replenishing inventory by stocking materials.
- Operate production equipment safely in accordance with established standard operating procedures.
- Review SOP’s, master batch records, specifications, and other applicable cGMP documentation for Manufacturing.
- Lead projects and processes in manufacturing areas.
- Support multiple projects simultaneously.
- Conduct activities in support of production schedules as directed by leadership.
- Maintain GMP records to comply with regulatory requirements and assist with in-process testing.
- Performs cleaning activities per approved procedures using Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Operate cleaning equipment and cleaning solutions safely in accordance with established standard operating procedures.
- Conduct cleaning activities in support of production schedules as directed by leadership.
- Ensure compliance to training on an activity prior to GMP execution.
- Review completed batch records and cleaning logbook daily for GMP compliance and completeness.
- Inventory cleaning supplies and ensure items are properly stocked.
- Operate to the highest ethical and moral standards.
- Adhere to quality standards set by regulations and policies, procedures, and mission.
- Work effectively in a team environment.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- High School Diploma/GED.
- 4+ years of experience in a GMP pharmaceutical or biotech environment of which 2+ years of experience Media /Buffer Prep processing or combined education and experience.
- Good written and communication skills.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and to maintain accurate records.
- Working knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office Applications
Nice-to-Have
- Ability to successfully multitask, when required.
- Bioworks Certification.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
- Frequently lift and or move objects at least 30 pounds.
- Stand/walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to work a 12-hour schedule with nights and weekends.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.

The salary for this position ranges from $30.77 to $51.28 per hour. In addition, this position offers eligibility for overtime, weekend, holiday and other pay premiums depending on the work schedule and the Company’s policies.
