What you"ll do
As a SAE, you will be a valued communications leader and will work directly with our clients. The public relations Senior Account Executive will partner with and report to our Senior Vice President who is based in Miami, Florida. The ideal candidate has likely been called a media hound or media maven because they are always searching for the next story to pitch for their clients. Above all else, the public relations Senior Account Executive will never be above rolling up their sleeves and doing what it takes to help their client and team.
DAY-TO-DAY ACTIVITIES
- Research and develop impeccable media lists
- Submit clients to conferences and relevant speaking engagements
- Present recommendations to clients, teammates, and agency leaders
- Update earned media trackers, status trackers, among other materials
- Create trendspotting reports, media recap reports, and more for clients
- Develop public relations strategies for client events, launches, and more
- Develop speaking topics and messaging for clients for various opportunities
- Work against deadlines, act autonomously, and adapt as client needs evolve
- Communicate frequently with internal teams about your progress on certain tasks
- Draft clear and concise press releases, reporter pitches, award submissions, and more
- Partner with director of public relations to pitch stories that earn positive coverage for our clients
Qualifications
- 4 to 5 years of experience preferred
- Agency experience is required; in-house experience is a plus
- Corporate communications experience is highly valued, along with experience in the consumer & tech industries
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Candidate is preferably based in Miami
