The Royal Caribbean Group's Celebrity Cruises brand has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Sr. Account Executive, Digital Media on the Marketing Team reporting to the Director, Media.
This position will work on-site in Miami, Florida.
Position Summary:
The role will focus on driving business goals through paid Digital Media execution across various mediums, with specific attention to SEM, affiliate, and performance media. The role will need to be well versed on Celebrity's guest segmentation strategy and manage to a full marketing campaign calendar to meet critical deadlines. The person in this role will need to be well versed in digital marketing strategies and technologies and stay abreast of competitive landscape.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • TEAM PARTNERSHIP & COLLABORATION: The role will work closely with internal and external teams to execute against tactical initiatives with constant eye on results and calibration to maximize performance. Drive Paid Search innovation within the team - identify and/or build tools to improve automation, identify and spearhead the testing of new betas, keep abreast of market trends and developments from publishers. This role will also work closely with the ecommerce, BI and creative teams on campaign initiatives, concepts, and asset creation to support campaigns.
  • PLANNING & EXECUTION: This position will support the media team with annual/ongoing Brand & Retail paid media strategy development, planning, predictive modeling and briefing for Digital Media. Creates and leads briefings to internal teams for timely execution of media campaigns.
  • TESTING & OPTIMIZATION: You'll partner with counterpart channel specialists, agency team, internal creative teams, measurement, analytics and marketing stakeholder teams to deliver end to end execution and performance management of campaigns. Drive continuous improvement through research, recommend development and implementation of new digital initiatives. Plan regular cadence of testing and optimization programs designed to drive continuous improvement around core KPIs. Pressure tests weekly Agency optimization recommendations. Works with Business Intelligence on testing opportunities.
  • REPORTING & COMMUNICATION: Work with Manager on implementing ongoing cadence of reporting for internal stakeholders. Dig into agency reports to ensure alignment to internal goals and strategy. Responsible for attending weekly status and reporting calls with media agency as well assuring accuracy on reporting data.
  • BUDGET MANAGEMENT: Own the day-to-day changes, and overall SEM and affiliate marketing budgets. Work with agencies ensure pacing to month and quarter as well as monthly budget forecast.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferable in Marketing, Advertising or Business Administration.
  • Minimum of 5 years Digital Media experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of paid search experience at an enterprise level. Expert level understanding of targeting/optimization levers and testing approaches across search buying platforms.
  • Expertise in paid search and affiliate platforms (ie. Google Ads, SA360, Microsoft Ad Center).
  • Experience in launching affiliate advertising. Passionate about using data to grow affiliate campaigns and comfortable negotiating strong partner terms and optimizing affiliate platforms.
  • Strong understanding of performance-based media optimization and subscription marketing. Ability to build strategic tailored plans to reach target audiences and deliver media objectives.
  • Expert understanding of marketing attribution and alternative measurement methodologies.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing technology, including marketing automation, predictive analytics, personalization, and segmenting tools.
  • Strong data analysis, visualization, and presentation skills; understanding of how to tailor communications to stakeholders with various levels of Digital Media literacy.
  • Experience supporting consumer brands especially travel or hospitality.
  • Experience working with a media agency.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience across other paid Digital Media including programmatic/ display/video/CTV/OTT or paid social is a plus.
  • International experience a plus
