This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days per week in our downtown Chicago, IL office.
JOB SUMMARY
In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, customization, and maintenance of our Salesforce platform, ensuring its seamless integration with other software applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce administration, coupled with software development expertise to enhance and optimize our AMS system.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Salesforce Administration:
- Configure and customize Salesforce to meet the AOA’s business requirements.
- Manage user and staff profiles, security settings, access permissions, and data integrity.
- Create and maintain custom objects, fields, workflows, and validation rules.
- Stay updated on Salesforce releases and new features to implement best practices.
Software Development:
- Develop and maintain custom applications and integrations using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for both front-end and back-end development.
- Implement automated testing and debugging procedures to ensure the reliability of custom applications.
Integration and Data Management:
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems and applications using APIs, Data Integration Layers and middleware.
- Design and implement data migration strategies for seamless transitions.
- Optimize data quality and ensure data consistency across the Salesforce/Fonteva platform.
User Training and Support:
- Provide training to end-users on Salesforce/Fonteva functionalities and best practices.
- Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve user issues.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION OR EXPERIENCE
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
Experience: 3+ years of related experience.
Licensure or Certification: Salesforce Certified (Administrator, Architect, Developers areas preferred).
SPECIAL SKILLS/EQUIPMENT
- Proven experience in Salesforce administration and software development.
- Proficient in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and other relevant technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience with Fonteva or iMIS a plus.
- Experience with C# or PHP a plus.
