At Varian we are looking for a Salesforce Administrator, Commercialization CPQ to work on a team responsible for developing & releasing Price Books to the worldwide Sales Channel. The focus is on Salesforce CPQ and Oracle BMI software tools that support the quoting experience from a Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) perspective. If you understand the Configure-Price-Quote(CPQ) environment from a technical and process perspective, this is the role for you.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Analyzes complex business problems to be solved with automated systems.
- Configures system settings and options; plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing to meet business requirements for company-wide, web-enabled solutions.
- Designs details and provides consultation of automated systems.
- Identifies gaps and provides technical expertise in business requirements for system functional specifications and scales new and current systems, processes, and procedures cost-effectively.
- May lead or participate in cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues.
- Support prioritization of user stories across multiple business processes and stakeholders.
- Analyzing gaps in the CRM, while strategizing potential solutions and improvements.
- Managing Feature Prioritization based on a combination of user needs and business goals.
- Sandbox environment management.
Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong communication skills to interact with other groups, understand and share their requirements.
- Experience working in SalesForce CPQ and Oracle CPQ tools.
- Subscription knowledge & experience preferred.
- Experience with SAP KMAT preferred.
- Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Education and Experience: Bachelors and 3 years of related experience
- Salesforce Administrator and CPQ certifications (highly desirable).
