Job description

Be a part of a world-class academic healthcare system at UChicago Medicine as a Salesforce Health Cloud Administrator. This is a remote, work from home opportunity and you may be based outside of the greater Chicagoland area. 

 

The Salesforce Health Cloud Administrator will work with Medical Center stakeholders to define system requirements, build technical solutions, and support the platform. A key part of the role is to enable users to get the most out of Salesforce technology. You will be part of a team that is driving digital transformation at a leading Academic Medical Center in a greenfield environment. This is a unique opportunity to join the UCM team and create unique solutions in the provider technology landscape that will significantly increase patient access to world-class healthcare. 

 

Essential Job Functions:

 

Deliver a robust Health Cloud environment that meets business needs: 

  • Understand how Salesforce Health Cloud will enable defined business goals
  • Stay abreast of new capabilities that can be delivered through Health Cloud
  • Create an environment for open conversations with stakeholders, and clearly communicate information back out to the appropriate parties
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand and analyze business requirements, translating them into effective Salesforce solutions
  • Understand project goals and get clarification on what stakeholders want to accomplish; interview stakeholders, research information or processes related to the project, and propose solutions 

Manage Health Cloud Platform:  

  • Documenting requirements in a manner that the information can be easily understood by stakeholders
  • Design end-to-end Salesforce architectures that align with business objectives, scalability, and best practices
  • Manage admin functions including user access and profiles
  • Administer account maintenance, reports, dashboards
  • Work with Architects, SIs and Business teams on establishing processes to support administrative development and change management activities
  • Develop technical standards that enable standard use and best practice 

Complete Internal system audits, upgrades, and manage environments:   

  • Establish environment standards and strategy including sandbox, test, and production
  • Establish best practices for use and efficient support
  • Proactively manage Salesforce Platform: governor limits, storage limits, bandwidth, and other performance measures
  • Lead and assess the release management cycles including planning and testing

Act as primary Health Cloud technical resource for UCM  with Salesforce

  • Track and manage tickets
  • Engage with IT Leadership on managing any managed services agreements 
  • Escalate when necessary

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 12 years’ Combined experience with Salesforce and the following technologies:
    • Strong practical deployment knowledge of Salesforce configurations
    • 5+ years’ experience working with an RDBMS such as MySQL, Oracle, or MS SQL Server 
    • 5+ years’ experience with HTML, XML, CSS, and JavaScript 
    • 2+ years’ experience with SOAP APIs, REST APIs and integration techniques
  • Relevant Salesforce Health Cloud platform development experience 
  • Data Cloud Consultant, and Health Cloud Consultant certification 
  • Health Cloud Developer certification
  • Familiarity with security standards such as TLS, SSL, SSO and data encryption preferred
