Recruiting Coordinator
The Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the recruitment and onboarding of staff in the organization. This role will help support objectives that assist with a positive and enriching experience at One Community Health for our staff.
Essential Functions:
Recruiting
- Coordinates staffing requisition process.
- Attends recruitment fairs or community networking events.
- Assist with posting open vacancies through ApplicantPro (ATS) and other job boards as requested/appropriate.
- Review resumes for minimum qualifications using ApplicantPro, update the status of each application.
- Schedules and completes virtual screens with applicants.
- Coordinate and schedules interviews with hiring supervisors based on virtual screen.
- Creates offer letters and tracks approvals for selected candidates.
- Generate rejection notifications for candidates that are not selected. Participates in JEDI efforts based on organization's needs.
Onboarding
- Facilitates and conducts new hire onboarding.
- Reviews new hire documents for accuracy to ensure compliance.
- Completes and collects all pre-employment requirements including, but not limited to, background checks, drug screen, TB tests, and required vaccination records.
- Assists in maintaining employee records in compliance with Federal and State laws, and the organization's policies and procedures.
- Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions
- Assists in the facilitation of miscellaneous affiliate programs including, but not limited to, Residency, Fellows, Internships.
- Manages Employee Referral Program
- Creates new hire files.
Development
- Coordinates orientation, training events, development of team members and ongoing training programs.
- Assists in rollout and implementation of HR programs.
Retention and Brand
- Helps to provide a Positive Company Culture using existing and/or new programs.
- Supports Employee Wellness and Employee Recognition Events
- Assist in communication programs, core values/standards of behavior and models our open-door policy.
- Assists with Employee Recognition Programs
- Participates in audits as needed.
- Maintaining Compliance in Legal and Regulatory Updates
- Ensure compliance with Data Privacy and Protection Guidelines
- Maintain a High Level of Ethics, Confidentiality and Conduct at all times.
Education/Experience Required:
Required
- Expertise in the following areas, typically gained from 2+ years in a recruiting/coordinator capacity.
- Effectively communicate to a diverse variety of audiences
- Oversee a list of a minimum of 30 vacancies at any given point and manage high volume onboarding.
- Ability to be a team player; adept at working with multiple people at any given time.
- Flexibility: able to shift tasks and priorities in a big way at the drop of a hat; comfortable working with ambiguity
- Experience in managing an ATS.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable with presenting or facilitating to large groups and various group types.
- Valid California Driver License
Preferred
- Experience in healthcare
- Bachelor's degree in HR
