Overview:
We are seeking a Receptionist/Assistant to join our team at Cross Creek Animal Clinic. This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a medical or veterinary office setting and possess strong computer literacy skills.
Duties:
- Greet, welcome, and check-in clients
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Schedule appointments and manage the office calendar
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
- Dispense and administer prescriptions medications
-Handle incoming and outgoing mail
- Conduct proofreading and editing tasks as needed
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
- Perform other clerical duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a medical or veterinary office is preferred
- Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
