Medical Receptionist/Front Office Assistant

Humanitary Medical Center is looking for an experienced and friendly Bilingual (Spanish / English) Medical Receptionist/Front Office Assistant that can work in a fast-paced environment. If you enjoy helping others and you have a welcoming demeanor, this may be a great opportunity for you.

Job duties: The following duties are illustrative and not exhaustive.

· Greets and assists all patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.

· Ensures all patients and visitors are treated with courtesy and compassion.

· Answer and direct phone calls using a multi-line phone system.

· Provide information to callers and visitors about Humanitary Medical Center and our services.

· Check-in/outpatients.

· Schedules appointments and maintains appointment calendar.

· Assists Physicians and Medical Assistance when necessary.

· Ensures compliance with HIPPA.

· Performs other duties as required.

Requirements:

· Bilingual – Must be able to communicate in Spanish and English.

· Experience as a Receptionist/Front Office Assistant in the medical field.

· Experience working with senior population is a plus.

· Excellent customer service, reading and writing skills required.

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

· Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
