We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented medical Receptionist/Assistant to join our team. As the first point of contact for our office, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be proficient in office management tasks, and possess strong organizational abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and schedule patients
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for staff members
- Perform clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, and photocopying
- Assist with order management and tracking
- Maintain office supplies and ensure stock is replenished as needed
- Send and receive medical billing and account receivables
- Provide general administrative support to the team as required
Experience:
- Previous experience working in an office or receptionist role is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with Google Suite is a plus
- Experience in a healthcare setting is a bonus
