Amentum is currently seeking a IT Training Designerwho specializes in instructional design to support our customer’s in house program. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in strategizing, designing, creating, reviewing, and delivering learning materials to support an IT Managed Services program in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The overall program includes a 500+ work force performing Enterprise IT support, Service Desk, and Telecommunications support across multiple facilities and locations, for classified and unclassified telecommunications and information technology (IT) systems.
As a member of the team, you will:
• Design and manage instructional systems.
• Evaluate and integrate new eLearning materials.
• Develop educational podcasts, videos, and other content.
• Innovate and update learning models.
• Implement and respond to feedback from learning program reviews.
• Train staff on effective delivery of learning materials.
• Conduct and apply research on the latest in learning design and educational methods.
• Offer guidance and industry insights to ensure alignment with current educational research.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have Bachelors degree and 2 years of experience OR an Associates degree and 5 years of experience OR a High School degree/ GED and 8 years of experience OR equivalent.
- Related experience can be substituted for relevant education and vice versa.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET (TS) or DOE Q Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a TOP SECRET (TS) or DOE Q Clearance.
- Proficiency in Adobe Captivate or similar content creation tools.
Desired Skills:
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow.
• ITIL 4 Foundation certification or relevant experience.
• Experience with Scrum/agile methodologies or a willingness to learn.
