KJG Architecture, Inc, an architecture and engineering firm located in West Lafayette, is looking for a friendly, professional receptionist to join our team. This person will be the first point of contact for our clients so a successful candidate will need to have great communications skills, a professional and relaxed demeaner, and a strong ability to multitask.
Job responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers and determine the nature of their visit
- Answer a multi-line phone system, screen and direct all incoming calls
- Oversee the booking of conference rooms for meetings
- Oversee mail and packages
- Purchase, inventory, stock and maintain office and kitchen supplies
- Filing and assisting in other departments as needed
- Light cleaning and organizing
- Errands for the office
- Scanning, printing and copying of prints and documents
- Support the mission, vision and core values of the company
Job Qualifications
- Strong communications skills
- Professional demeaner and appearance
- Excellent verbal communications and interpersonal skills
- Detail Oriented
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Excellent time management
- Highly organized multitasker who can prioritize and work well in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable, punctual and have the ability to be flexible
- Willingness to learn and grow with the company
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior administration or clerical experience preferred
- Architectural design experience a plus, but not required.
- Drafting, graphic design or social media experience would be a plus but not mandatory

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
