Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and assist with patient inquiries
- Maintain patient records and update information in the electronic records system
- Verify insurance coverage and collect co-pays or payments from patients
- Coordinate patient referrals to specialists or other healthcare providers
- Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Collaborate with staff to ensure efficient patient flow and excellent customer service
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a dental office is preferred
- Proficiency in using phone systems and other office equipment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is a plus
