Position Summary:
As a Sales Support Assistant, you will be the backbone of our sales team, providing essential support by managing incoming calls and aiding in the organization and follow-up of sales leads. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to enhancing team productivity and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls with professionalism, vetting leads, directing inquiries and providing assistance as needed.
- Assist the sales team in managing their schedules and keeping track of lead progress, ensuring no potential sale falls through the cracks.
- Conduct regular follow-ups on sales leads to verify their status and support the sales process.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and lead management in our CRM system. (Our current system is Pipedrive).
- Sales leads can come in through chat, pipedrive, our text messaging app, social media, emails, and phone calls. We expect help with funneling leads to the proper sales person, which involves vetting the customer first and handing the lead off to the sales person that's been fully vetted.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify areas for improvement in the sales process and implement solutions.
- Provide administrative support as needed to facilitate efficient sales operations.
- Provide order tracking information.
- Work with order processing to ensure clients order is processed properly. (This involves a conversation with the customer and with order processing, and is resolved within a matter of minutes.)
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Previous experience in a sales support or administrative role is preferred but not required.
- A positive attitude and a team-oriented approach.
