Support a dynamic team in the Office of the President, working toward fulfilling the mission of Stevenson University. Involves tasks such as answering multiple phone lines, providing outstanding customer service to both internal and external people of diverse backgrounds to help foster a welcoming and inclusive community, and providing administrative support to various programs.
Greets visitors, handles incoming and outgoing calls, and performs general administrative duties. Provide friendly and professional customer service to faculty, staff, and students as well as guests to the University. Provide a variety of administrative support for the President's office.

Education/Experience:
Bachelors degree or three years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge/Skills/Ability:
- Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point and other relevant software.
- Demonstrated success in working independently, multi-tasking, problem solving,
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills, strong command of grammar and English usage, to include accuracy in proofreading, composing correspondence, editing and typing.
- Ability to do research and collect data.
- Ability to manage special projects from beginning to completion.
- Ability to work occasional evenings/weekends as needed.
Physical Requirements:
Sedentary work. Keyboarding, talking, hearing, repetitive motions. Close visual acuity. Requires physical abilities consistent with a busy office environment on a campus with buildings separated by some distance. Daily work with computers, monitors, copy machines, and other office equipment.
Essential Functions:
- Provide administrative support to various programs
- Maintain open communication while protecting sensitive and confidential information
- Provide outstanding customer service, accurately and effectively responding to queries and requests from faculty, staff, students, alumni, parents, administration and external individuals
- Develop processes and procedures that will ensure a consistently organized, efficient, and professional office environment
- Assist with both on campus and off campus events by organizing guest lists, creating invitation letters and other materials, working at the venue, and doing any necessary follow up
- Maintain a calendar of important dates for the University
- Prepare miscellaneous correspondence, spreadsheets, and presentations
- Prepare materials for the Board of Trustees and its subcommittees for various meetings
- Work with Conference Services to schedule meetings, events, and activities
- Maintain office supplies and monitor equipment for any issues
