Job Summary:
The gatekeeper for items coming into the Plant. This role is responsible for items coming into the plant, receiving, and inspecting all goods and materials, both raw material and finished goods. This role will also help to distribute deliveries within the Plan to their respective departments.
Safely and efficiently move raw and/or finished products throughout the plant. Assure that all appropriate documentation associated with movement of product/materials is complete and accurate. Perform tasks including production work given by Plant Manager, Material handling supervisor, and/or Manufacturing Supervisors.
Essential Functions:

- Receive raw materials and verify against the packing slip. Accurate code received good to a proper account.
- Supply material as needed and/or requested to the production line, and other departments may require a forklift.
- Assist in preparation for and completion of plant inventory.
- Take deliveries to the respective employees or departments.
- Adhere to all facets of safety policies and procedures, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment
- Conduct routine accurate cycle counting.
- Assist with daily material handling duties when needed.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be physically capable of lifting 50 lbs.
- Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach within hand, and arm length, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
- Full hand dexterity
- Must be able to stand on your feet for long periods of time.
Entry Level Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic math and organization skills
- Detail-oriented mindset
- Data entry and computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Understanding of safety protocols and requirements
- Experience shipping, receiving, or selling related products.
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
- CDL preferred.
- 1 year of previous production experience in Forklift driving and/or material handling
