Receiving Clerks Full-time and Part-time

Description:

Mackin Educational Resources has immediate openings for Full-time and Part-time Receiving Clerks. Our employees enjoy working in the comfort of a climate-controlled work environment. The right candidate for this position must be able to work in a team-oriented setting. Have a thorough understanding of receiving production process. Work with minimal supervision along with being safety conscious and able to keep workplace neat, clean, and free of hazards.

Responsibilities

• Examine shipment contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy
• Deliver or route materials to departments using pallet jacks or roll carts
• Maintain safe working conditions and keep work areas clean
• May be required to operate pallet jack and related stockroom machinery
• Accurately and efficiently scan and check books electronically into our in-house software program

Requirements:

• Must be able to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
• Great attention to detail and ability to follow written and oral directions in order to make sure books are being processed correctly
• Able to handle standing or sitting during an entire shift
• Must have the physical strength and stamina to lift and move goods repeatedly throughout shift
• Able to repetitively move hands, fingers and arms in coordinated fashion to grasp and manipulate books in a precise manner
• Previous receiving experience a plus
• Must have strong data entry and clerical skills.
• Ability to cross train into other areas as needed
• Ability to lift and carry 30-50 pounds

Shifts

• Full-Time Shifts: Working Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm
• Part-Time Shifts: Working Monday - Friday 5 hours per day, start times between 8am and 4pm

Salary

• $17.50 per hour
