We need someone to manage and oversee the sales and purchasing operations daily. The main goal is to improve district performance, motivate the team, and build strong relationships with customers and vendors. They should share knowledge with other branches and headquarters and address any issues concerning employee and customer satisfaction.

Purchasing Assistant 2904 (Fastener) Responsibilities:

The person will work with vendors and sales personnel to get price quotes.

They will also create documents like memos, reports, purchase orders, and other necessary paperwork.

They will approve charges for freight and duty, direct bank payments, and allocate freight and duty costs.

The candidate should have experience expediting foreign shipments, tracking shipments in transit, recording data, and distributing paperwork.

Maintain logs of foreign shipments and handle rejected correspondence.

Purchasing Assistant 2904 (Fastener) should have:

One year of purchasing experience

Fastener industry experience

Overseas purchasing experience (preferred),

A high school diploma or GED

Able to read and interpret invoices

Able to read and interpret customs duty classifications,

Have experience with purchase orders, freight bills, and bills of lading.
