This Purchasing Assistant Position Features:
Purchasing Assistant
Responsibilities:
· Receive shipping document from oversea vendors and confirm accurate item, purchase order information; Ensure import documentation is submitted to customs brokers.
· Check status of shipments and ensure customs and freight is cleared. Track shipment for delivery to warehouse.
· Coordinate with vendors on product returns and credits
· Manage branches inventory transfer process to ensure timeliness and efficiency of all transfers
· Support purchasing department in additional tasks as required
Requirements:
· 1-2 years of logistic/general business experience
· Excellent MS Excel skills with strong mathematical abilities
· Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
· Detail oriented
· Good verbal and written skills
· Fluent in Mandarin
