SCS Engineers is looking for a Project Administrator to support our Texas region for our Field Services OM&M Business Unit. The Project Administrator will assist with office-related projects, business development, and other indirect tasks. You will facilitate operational activities and work with individuals in other departments to provide support. You will receive work assignments from the Office Services Manager, Sr. Project Administrator, and delegated Project Lead. You will work out of the Bedford, TX office.
How you can make an impact
- Assist managers with preparation and update of project budgets and tracking project revenue/expenditures.
- Complete interactive billing and post invoices.
- Prepare, distribute, and electronically file monthly invoices and billing projections.
- Create and issue purchase orders for supplies, rentals, and project materials. Track all purchases and related documents with an emphasis on cost reduction and efficiency.
- Prepare and distribute accounting reports to managers for their review and approval.
- Review accounting reports and invoice logs and correct errors by completing invoice corrections and revenue reduction forms.
- Process employee timesheets and expense reports.
- Assist managers with proposal preparation and other business development activities, including miscellaneous correspondence and presentations.
- Prepare and maintain proposal file.
- Assist managers with report preparation by proofreading and finalizing client reports.
- Assist managers with proofreading technical and client correspondence.
- Maintain project files.
- Support field staff and managers in managing field-testing equipment.
- Provide administrative support for the Health and Safety Representative, including compiling site-specific health and safety plans.
- Arrange travel, lodging, conferences, and catering if needed.
- Other duties as requested.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or Business School Certificate preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required.

Pay range for this position is $20/hr to $23/hr depending on experience and location. This does not include bonuses or our Employee Stock Ownership Plan.
