Responsibilities and Duties:
- Set up and operate machines to re-line heavy duty brake shoes.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment used to produce brake shoes.
- Lift and carry 50lbs on a daily basis, and up to 100lbs when needed.
- Inspect cores to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Complete daily paperwork in a legible, accurate manner.
- Maintain a safe and clean work area, and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Essential Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma (or GED)
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Mechanical and/or industrial experience
Work Environment:
Employees must regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and sometimes up to 100lbs. Employees are regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, dirt and grease. Employees could be occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
