At Synergis Technologies, we are looking for an energetic, results-oriented Business Development Representative to join our team and focus on helping new and existing Architecture, Engineering, and Construction customers successfully adopt Autodesk Software through our Synergis Services.

Role and Responsibilities:
As part of a dynamic sales team, focused on the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction industries, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and nurturing potential customers representing the entire Synergis architectural, engineering, and construction portfolio within the Mid-Atlantic Region. The BDR will work closely with the sales team to identify opportunities for growth, target accounts, and identify customer growth needs, all while providing exceptional support to the team’s prospecting efforts. The BDR will be responsible for generating new business opportunities 75% of the time. The BDR will prospect and generate new business leads through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, direct email, and social media outreach. You will be responsible for researching buyer intent data for accounts, and understanding the AEC business needs and challenges. You will need to engage with prospects daily to understand their requirements and educate them about Synergis Technologies. The BDR will also engage the prospect to schedule meetings with and for the sales team, collaborate with the marketing team on what you are hearing from the territories, and strategize with the team on how to create more brand awareness. Lastly, you will use our CRM tool to maintain accurate records of all activities within the target accounts and customer base.
Additional responsibilities include:

  • Achieving consistent quota attainment and other performance metrics
  • Presenting solutions to all levels in an organization being able to clearly understand customer’s processes and challenges then articulate how solutions will help the customer be successful.
  • Utilization of Salesforce to document activity, create proposals, process orders and forecast sales in your assigned territory
  • Travel to customer locations or events as necessary
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years consultative sales experience (experience in SASS or Cloud Solutions a plus).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint required.
  • Experience presenting to, or meeting with, customers face to face, is required.
  • Proven experience in sales, Business Development, new customer acquisition, lead generation, or prospecting required.
  • Salesforce experience with reporting within Salesforce, is required.
  • Sandler sales training a plus.
  • Experience working remotely a plus.
  • Proven ability to work independently and achieve established quotas.
  • Architectural, Engineering, or Construction background or Autodesk knowledge a plus.
  • Strong organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships quickly.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and persuasive selling skills to engage with potential customers.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven with a passion for sales and Business Development.


This full-time REMOTE position has a base salary and earns monthly bonuses based on performance metrics.
