Responsibilities
- Makes a Business Development plan based on IvyBoost's services and current status
- Develops different channels that IvyBoost may receive customers
- Improves current channels to make them more efficient
- Builds market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationships with schools, tutoring & test prep companies, education centers and other educational service providers
- Improves our current referral mechanism to receive more leads and customers
- Talks to some current leads/prospects to close deals
- Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners
- Discovers and explores other business opportunities
- Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and financials
- Develops negotiating strategies and positions
- Examines risks and potentials for the business opportunities
- Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; and integrating contract requirements with business operations.
- Assists in other works that are assigned by Manager
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree or above from a selective US college with Business/Marketing major
- Graduated from a US high school required
- Familiar with grades 8-12 students' college counseling need and all resources such students may need to grow
- At least 5 years of Business Development/sales/marketing experience
- Business development experience with education industry preferred
- Strong communication skills in speaking and writing
- Strong phone call and cold call skills
- Good at making sales/marketing video
- Experience on digital/social media marketing, SEO and Google Ads preferred
- Organized and detail oriented
- Authorized to work in the US
- Prefer local candidates from the SF Bay Area
