Job Title:Production Operator (1st/2nd Shift)

Summary:
As a Production Operator, you will play a key role in manufacturing quality products safely. This position involves assembling and/or fitting parts to create complete units or subassemblies at a bench or conveyor line. You may use simple hand tools, power tools, or special assembly tools as needed.
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate machines according to production guidelines.
Load and unload machines, potentially with the assistance of automation or ergonomic aids.
Provide relief for fellow operators during breaks or as needed.
Operate manual material handling equipment to restock production areas with raw materials or purchased parts.
Move wheeled carts, racks, or bins containing work-in-progress to adjacent production areas.
Inspect product quality to ensure adherence to standards.
Maintain cleanliness in the work area.
Perform other duties as assigned based on plant needs.
Required Skills:
Ability to frequently lift up to 45 lbs.
Ability to bend, reach, or twist frequently.
Ability to lift and transfer items weighing up to 30 lbs at waist height.
Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods.
Must pass a drug and alcohol screening (THC friendly position).
Shifts:
1st shift: 5:30 am - 4:00 pm
2nd shift: 4:00 pm - 2:30 am
Both shifts include a 30-minute unpaid lunch and two 15-minute paid breaks.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Starting from $16.00 per hour, with a 2nd shift premium
Schedule:
Four 10-hour shifts per week
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
2 years of manufacturing experience preferred
Pay Details: $16.00 to $17.12 per hour
