Location: Between St. Charles and Hemlock
Specific Responsibilities:
- Basic understanding of blue prints and tolerance.
- Basic knowledge in use of measuring instruments, calipers and tape measure.
- Ability to use basic fixtures and use techniques needed for clamping and work holding.
- Able to follow proper operation of loading and unloading parts.
- Ability to possess basic math skills to include but not limited to adding, subtracting, multiplication, Divisions.
- Properly find remove and charge out all materials. This will include receiving materials and marking material working with the materials coordinator clerk.
- Performs a range of duties including horizontal band saw setup, basic equipment maintenance, optimization of material to be cut, takes responsibility for Saw Operator I.
Qualifications and Physical Demands:
· High School Diploma
· Weld courses either in high school or through skilled trade or college.
· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and to climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch.
· The employee must regularly lift and move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds
· A minimum requirement to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/ support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.
