Austemper Operator - 3rd Shift

Austemper is a job that will allow you to stay continuously moving. This is also an opportunity to work with others on a team yet perform and work individually at the same time. There is room for growth and individuality while performing standardized work.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• All essential functions of Austemper Machine Operator
• Dump the 400 lb. salt drum into the machine when your salt level is low
• Add oil to the oil pit when oil levels are low
• Assist purging parts from under the oil quench demag conveyor
• Know how to start up machine after machine was down (including but not limited too starting conveyors, making sure all flames are lit…etc.)
• Relight belt dryer flames and pilot flames
• Be able do adjust your machine to bring your dewpoint into spec on your own
• Ability to train new employees
• All other responsibilities as assigned.
