ANINE BING is looking for a Product Development Managerto join its Production team based in Los Angeles.
The Product Development Manager oversees Product Development processes and strategic sourcing initiatives while leading and coaching the Product team to ensure ongoing growth and development.

Responsibilities Include
- Product Lifecycle Management: Lead Product Development from concept to production, managing the entire lifecycle.
- Vendor Communication: Daily communication with vendors to ensure accurate samples and meet deadlines.
- Sample Tracking and Oversight: Oversee tracking of raw materials and samples, ensuring timely production and photoshoot deadlines.
- Collaboration with Design: Work closely with design for approval comments and feedback.
- Raw Material Sourcing and Testing: Source, manage, and test raw materials to meet quality standards.
- Documentation and Costing: Create and maintain tracking reports for samples, fabric, lab dips, and strike-offs. Manage initial costing, analyzing and achieving margin goals.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with tech teams to ensure garments meet fit and production standards.
Requirements
- Must be willing to work in person at our DTLA HQ office Monday through Thursday (and work remotely on Fridays)
- Minimum 7 years of progressive work experience in the garment/ textile industry
- Four-year college or university degree with emphasis on clothing technology or manufacturing
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to anticipate problems and develop solutions through to resolution
- In-depth Knowledge of material construction and related testing, and production garment construction and manufacturing
- Advanced negotiation skills and knowledge of costing
- Strong technical skills, e.g. MS Office, Google Docs, PDM, Adobe

Compensation
- The anticipated base salary range for this role is $80,000 - $90,000 per year.
