Our network of PIRTEK franchisees are fast-growing service-based businesses, offering both retail and mobile hydraulic and industrial hose service. As the Procurement Manager at PIRTEK USA, you will be responsible for:
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Executive level reporting on procurement across the company, internal and external.
- Evaluate, manage and document our work processes and ensure that they are followed.
- Continually analyze performance of all suppliers, assessing their ability to consistently meet product quality and delivery requirements.
- In-depth skills in reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiating price stability and terms.
- Identify underperforming vendors and identify alternates.
- Negotiate with vendors to secure advantageous terms and pricing.
- Review existing contracts with suppliers and vendors and provide recommendations.
- Maintain awareness of inbound product orders and adjust, as necessary.
- Oversee Inventory Management team.
- Recruit, retain and develop high performing team members.
- Other projects as needed.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Procurement or Supply Chain degree required.
- Procurement credentials preferred. (CSCP/CPSM)
- Five years of Procurement responsibilities, international preferred.
- Five years plus managing procurement teams or related field.
- Advanced analytical skills with a proven history of providing accurate data-based recommendations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, and suppliers.
- Capability to collaborate with a team in a fast-paced growth environment to meet aggressive deadlines while managing multiple priorities.
- Ability to solve problems in a team/distribution environment.
- Adept at connecting with all levels of the organization.
- Experience with complex change as a leader through challenging situations, bringing resilience, and proven capability of leading through influence.
- Advanced MS Excel.
- Syteline ERP experience a plus.
