As we are growing and want to expand our international procurement activities in the construction and Real Estate sector, we are looking to strengthen our procurement team in Fort Lauderdale as soon as possible. Responsibilities:

• Transfer the corporate planning into the group-wide procurement roadmap for the Construction & Real Estate division
• Manage the global requirements of our internal customers (as business partner and quality gate) and accompany the purchasing projects as an interdisciplinary interface to other departments
• Monitor the market for conventional and innovative partners and strategies relating to our stations and headquarters - from refurbishment and new construction measures to the permanent supply of stations in the areas of energy, security, cleaning, facilities and, if necessary, lease negotiations
• Conduct tenders and auctions, support rollouts and establish the group-wide e-Sourcing and eProcurement strategy
• Conduct annual negotiations with our existing contractual partners and intermediaries in Germany and abroad and support our foreign companies in their negotiations
• Review and optimize our international quality standards and implement them with our local partners
• Take on group-wide responsibility for the development of a product group strategy and ensure its implementation
• Improve the cost structure of SIXT by analyzing, designing and implementing purchasing initiatives
• As an experienced buyer, you are a professional role model for your team colleagues and support them by sharing knowledge on topics such as negotiation, project planning, and purchasing tools

Qualifications

• Expert in construction / furniture fixture and equipment(FF&E)/ Real Estate and already have several years of professional experience in a comparable position in purchasing
• In-depth knowledge of product groups in the construction & Real Estate sector
• Strong negotiating skills, coupled with strong cost awareness
• Characterized by your ability to work under pressure, team spirit and assertiveness
• Fluent in English; German and Spanish language skills are an advantage
• Proficient knowledge of MS Office PowerPoint and Excel
• Comfortable in an agile environment and remain calm and experienced even with short-term project changes
• Ability to travel up to 25%
• Will not now, or in the future, require sponsorship to work in the US

Additional Information
Salary: $85,000 - $105,000
