Pretreatment Quote Specialist

HOH Water Technology is a leading, growing, third generation water treatment company celebrating 56 years of business! We are seeking a Pretreatment Quote Specialist that utilizes excellent project management, teamwork and administration skills to support the quote creation process. This is a full-time position. This position has flexibility working remote, hybrid or in the Palatine, IL office. Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in an office setting with an emphasis on sales or pretreatment equipment.

Main responsibilities of the position include:

• Review and prepare quotes for Pretreatment requests for service. Understand the project and its requirements by reviewing with technician and selecting parts from a diagram.
• Generate proposals for small Pretreatment projects assuring profits targets for revenue and service dollars are in alignment with goals. Determine key variables for cost and other estimates.
• Coordinate with Sales and Field team on proposals and incoming PO’s.
• Liaison with Project Coordinator to ensure sales are transitioned to Equipment Team smoothly.
• Achieve revenue and gross profit product line objective by forecasting and reviewing contract process.
• Build and maintain current relationships with suppliers to optimize supplier pricing and delivery.
• Update the current system with pricing and search for alternative suppliers for lower costs.

Qualifications:

• Candidate must have strong communications, organizational skills, detail oriented, and self-motivated with a high level of dedication to be a team player.
• High school Diploma and certification in sales, business or HVAC/plumbing field is a plus.
• Experience reading and understanding specification or working in plumbing is preferred.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
• Must be able to communicate in English and ability to read proficiently in English.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must currently be 18 years of age
