In this role you'll work as part of the internal sales team, supporting the field sales staff whose primary customers include high schools, park and recreation facilities, and commercial organizations.
As part of this team, you'll be an integral part of the Quote and Order fulfillment process.
- You will receive quote requests from the sales team and work through a detailed process to return an accurate quote for sales presentation to the customer.
- You will respond to quote requests and follow up with sales as needed.
- You will interact with the internal team to prepare and process the order documents, so our customers receive their equipment on the time schedule they require.
- You will have the opportunity to assist with process improvement initiatives.
- You will learn various systems and programs.
- You will have the opportunity to adapt to meet ever changing business needs.
The atmosphere is team oriented and friendly. You'll build relationships within this team and with adjacent teams and learn about Daktronics product offerings.
Where will I be working?
- Daktronics offers the flexibility to work from a U.S. home office or a Daktronics location. This opportunity is open to U.S. based candidates.
- Bachelor's degree in business, consumer affairs, or related field.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated experience managing your time well, exhibiting attention to detail, working in a collaborative way, shifting gears comfortably, and following through.
- Desire to learn and ability to quickly apply training in an ever-evolving business.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience in an office environment is a plus.
