Truck World, Inc., headquartered in Hubbard, Ohio, is currently seeking a part time (16-20 hours per week) Payroll/Human Resources Specialist to join their team. With the supervision of the CFO, the individual who fills this role will have an opportunity to handle all payroll and various human resources responsibilities for Truck World.
Responsibilities/Essential Duties:
- Confirm non-exempt employees have their hours reported
- Run time entry, retirement, and payroll reports
- Process payroll every other week
- Enroll new hires in any benefits and enter changes for current and former employees
- Run end of year tax reports (1099, W2s, etc.)
- Update any HR templates such as Job Descriptions, Offer Letter, etc.
- Research and provide responses to employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs
- Research and stay abreast of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions
- Handle employee relations situations efficiently and in compliance with applicable laws
- Draft employee communications on behalf of CFO
- Prepare and maintain employee files, assuring timeliness, accuracy, completeness, compliance and confidentiality
- Confirms new hires receive all new hire paperwork and submits completed forms timely and to the right person
- Posts open positions in applicant tracking system
- Shares resumes with hiring managers for review
- Prepares offer letters for CFO signature
- Identify and support continuous improvement opportunities
- Perform other job-related duties, as needed
