ODNR owns and manages state parks, state forests, state nature preserves and wildlife areas. We license all hunting, fishing and watercraft; oversee and permit all mineral extraction, monitor dam safety, manage water resources and serve as the second largest Law Enforcement presence in the State of Ohio.

We are accepting applications for a Human Capital Management Sr. Analyst within the Division of Human Resources, headquartered at ODNR Central Office located in Franklin county. The address is 2045 Morse Rd., Columbus, Ohio 43229. To learn more about ODNR, please visit https://ohiodnr.gov/.

What you will do…

  • Performs human resources duties using Ohio Administrative Knowledge System (OAKS), OnBase and Kronos.
  • Assists in processing of absence management issues (e.g. disability, Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Worker’s Compensation)
  • Participates as an ambassador for the state wellness program (Take Charge Live Well).
  • Assists in finalizing and verifying benefit events after employee enrollment, serves as liaison for various state benefit programs.
  • Assists in processing timecards, leave requests, approvals, absence leave cases and finalizing of payroll file.
  • Participates in new hire orientation for payroll and benefits.

Starting hourly pay of $29.49/hr with multiple pay increases over your first 6.5 years of service, and an ending hourly pay of $42.01/hr.

Qualifications

3 yrs. exp. in human resources.
  • Or completion of undergraduate core program in human resources, business or public administration AND 12 mos. exp. in human resources.

  • Or 1 yr. exp. as Human Capital Management Analyst, 64612.

  • Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.
