Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Prepare and submit accurate hourly payroll.
Verify accuracy of checks for weekly distribution
Prepare manual payroll checks to replace incorrect payroll checks as needed.
Report weekly man-hour statistics to management.
Report monthly employee information for general ledger and other management requirements.
Answer employee’s questions concerning deductions, garnishments, etc. as needed.
Set up new employees in the time keeping system.
Replace employee badges as needed.
Maintain and troubleshoot problems with time clocks.
Prepare compensation history reports as needed.
Act in the capacity of backup for AP Specialist – to be trained by AP Specialist on key position tasks.
Back up receptionist
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Two-year associate degree required.
Bilingual (English – Spanish) required.
Two to three years related experience and/or training.
ADP experience preferred but not required.
Microsoft Office proficiency, especially Excel.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the Company
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rates, ratio, and percentages, and interpret graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Salary: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
