Description: Serve as secretary to the Superintendent, serves as a general office receptionist and
Essential Duties (list not exhaustive):
Answer telephone – place and receive calls and route messages appropriately
Welcome and direct visitors
Receipt and distribute mail
Prepares letters, fliers, reports, requisitions, and other documents; proofs to ensure accuracy
Make contacts with the public with tact and diplomacy
Maintain respect at all times for confidential information, e.g., custodial papers, IEP’s, birthcertificates, grades, medications and health restrictions, court documents and papers
Interact in a positive manner with staff, students, and parents
Promote good public relations by personal appearance, attitude and conversation
Perform fingerprinting services as needed
Print and maintain an inventory of forms
Type, reproduce and distribute School Calendar, Teacher and Administrative Directories annually
Maintain Frontline Absence Management files
Print forms, brochures and booklets as directed
Perform routine office duties
Provide lamination services for districts
Maintain files for local school districts and Educational Service Center bus drivers
Responsible for making sure each school bus driver has a current physical, hearing test,abstract, four hour training verification and bus driver’s certificate annually
Monitor proper certification and background checks of new school bus drivers
Coordinate schedule for annual bus driver physicals and T-8’s
Responsible for quoting prices and coordinating printing jobs for nonprofit organizations
- Prepare covers, vacancy brochures, programs, etc.
- ?Serve as the preschool program secretary and central contact person
- ?Ensure student safety
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
One to two years related experience
Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office and Google
