- Payroll Administrator specializing in Union requirement payroll function - Heavy Lift and Transport Projects
- Office location: Rosharon, TX
We are seeking a remarkable Payroll Administrator to join our team to handle processing timely and accurate multi-state US payroll. This vital role will involve a specific focus on state and federal compliance, particularly in the heavylift and transport industry. With experience working with Local Unions such as; Operating Engineers, Ironworkers and further craft trades.
Mammoet utilizes a probationary period (“introduction period” or “probation”) for new hires of 90 days. During the introduction period the position is full time in the office for proper onboarding and training. After a successful 90-day probationary, the role is eligible to participate in our "Work From Home" policy.

Working with leadership team, and with support from regional and global HR colleagues, you will be responsible forexecuting and coordinating all day-to-day payroll administration and processes, by recording, processing and checking time registration, annual leave, pensions, calculation variances, providing reports, completing payroll journals and deal with queries, in line with local legislation, internal procedures under limited supervision, to ensure the payroll administration is executed correctly and ready for the payroll-run.
- Ability to comprehend and apply rules and regulations in a complex environment.
- Act as primary contact for Union payroll administration and employees with payroll and paycheck questions; escalate if needed.
- Resolve payroll and paycheck issues in a timely manner.
- Responsible for appropriate withholding of taxes, prevaling wage and certified payroll (LPC Tracker)
- 5 years of relevant work experience
- Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA)
- Weekly union payroll 100-150 employees
- Mid to Senior experience with:
- Union requirements, dues and fringe calculations
- Multistate payroll
- ADP Workforce Now
- SAP
- Prevailing Wage and Certified Payroll
- LCP Tracker
- CPP preferred.
- Associates or bachelor’s degree in finance a plus
