Position Title:HR and Payroll Administrator
Reports to: Director of People (Director of HR)
Status: Full-time, Non-exempt
Job Description: As the HR/Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for the administration of essential HR and Payroll functions to ensure the seamless operation of our organization.
This role reports to the Director of People with a dotted reporting line to the Director of Operations.
Your key responsibilities will encompass:
Payroll Administration:
- Administer the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain payroll records, including taxes, deductions, and adjustments.
- Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries while delivering excellent customer service.
On-boarding and Off-boarding:
- Facilitate the on-boarding process for new employees, including compliance documentation, orientation, and training.
- Efficiently manage the off-boarding process for departing team members, handling exit interviews and relevant paperwork.
HRIS Experience:
- Leverage your proficiency in HR Information Systems (HRIS) to maintain accurate employee records and optimize HR processes.
- Collaborate with Senior Management to enhance and customize HRIS functionalities as needed.
Highly Organized:
- Maintain meticulous HR records and documentation to ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulations.
- Administer employee benefits and manage HR paperwork efficiently, such as employee contracts and policies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: To excel in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
- 1-3 years of HR and Payroll administration.
- Experience in HRIS systems, with preference given to candidates experienced with Paycom.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A commitment to handling sensitive and confidential information with utmost discretion.
- A desire to grow and learn in this position, as the ideal candidate could be on a career track for HR Manager as and when the company grows.
- Prior experience within the fitness industry would be advantageous.
