The Payroll Administrator will possess thorough understanding of payroll regulations and practices as well as excellent mathematical, multi-tasking, and organizational skills. Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions. Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
Essential Functions
- Assist in the preparation and auditing of payroll data.
- Daily data entry and reconciling timecards.
- Works as the point of contact for any employee or vendor inquires.
- Manage and maintains payroll related data.
- Verifies working hours and pay rates.
- Assist Payroll Specialist with payroll related inquires including payroll discrepancies.
- Issuing and distributing payroll checks and W-2’s.
- Upkeep payroll records for all employees including but not limited to electronically filing payroll related documentation, scanning payroll related documents as needed.
- Analyzing, preparing, and processing payroll for multi-state employer.
- Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
- Managing garnishments and Direct Deposits

Education and Experience
- High school diploma required
- Entry Level Role with an interest in Payroll
