JOB SUMMARY
F.W. Walton Inc. is looking for an experienced Construction Payroll Administrator who will be responsible for managing and processing payroll for all F.W. Walton, Inc. companies’ employees. This role requires strong attention to detail, math skills, and knowledge of payroll laws and regulations, particularly those specific to the construction industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Calculating and processing employee wages, salaries, and deductions accurately and timely through SAGE 300.
- Ensuring compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and other laws and regulations related to the construction industry including workers compensation and Certified Payroll reporting.
- Managing and reviewing employee benefits, such as health insurance, retirement plans, etc.
- Entering and uploading accurate information for all employees in Arcoro and SAGE 300
- Calculating and withholding payroll taxes, as well as ensuring the submission of tax payments and reports in compliance with government regulations
- Preparing and generating payroll reports for management, accounting, and government agencies, such as quarterly and annual tax report including year end W-2 processing.
- Organizing and safeguarding payroll records, including pay stubs, tax documents, and other relevant files.
- Addressing and resolving any payroll-related discrepancies, inquiries, or concerns from employees.
- Coordinating with HR, accounting, and other departments to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of payroll processes.
- Maintaining and updating payroll policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure consistency and compliance.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Exceptional organizational skills, analytical and problem solving.
- Excellent Verbal, written and communication skills.
- Detailed orientated and tech savvy is a required.
- Able to use computer applications, manipulate and format text/numerical data.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 7-10 years of Construction Payroll Processing background required
