Patient Scheduler ( English And Spanish )

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Scheduler. As a Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office by efficiently managing patient appointments and schedules. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a medical office setting and possess strong administrative and customer service skills.

Duties:
- Schedule patient appointments using our electronic scheduling system (such as Dentrix or Epic)
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure availability for appointments
- Communicate with patients to confirm appointments and provide necessary instructions
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding scheduling and appointments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in our office management system
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed, including filing, data entry, and insurance verification

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a medical office or similar setting is preferred
- Proficiency in using scheduling systems and office software (such as Dentrix or Epic)
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate scheduling and record keeping
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers
- Familiarity with medical administrative support duties, including insurance verification and front desk operations
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure
