Optima is currently seeking a Patient Scheduling Coordinator to provide exceptional support to our patients. The ideal candidate will have familiarity working in a clinical setting. This candidate will be responsible for addressing patient concerns, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance coverage, etc. through DearDoc chat site.
Patient Scheduling Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Verify insurance coverage.
- Address patient concerns within a timely manner.
- Relay messages to patients through chat site.
- Confirm patient appointments.
- Schedule initial and follow up appointments.
- Input/Update patient information, including insurance.
Patient Scheduling Coordinator Qualifications:
- 1yr Medical Front Office (Preferred)
- 1yr Customer services experience (Required)
- Experience with EMR
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Positive attitude that welcomes teamwork
- Multitask efficiently.
- Timeliness and dependability
