Cardiology Patient Scheduler

Job Summary:

Looking for a friendly & reliable individual with great customer service skills to answer phones and schedule appointments at a high-volume Cardiology office. eCW experience is needed. Mon-Fri from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Job Description:

• Answering high-volume phones (100+ calls per day) & scheduling patients with a friendly and professional "Patients-first" manner.
• Gather & enter patient demographics and insurance information accurately.
• Understand and uphold internal policies, procedures in a friendly can-do customer-service-based manner.
• Coordinate communication between patients, family members, medical staff, administrative staff, and/or other parties in a collaborative way.
• Coordinate with other functional areas of the clinic to provide a seamless experience for patients.
• Perform other duties as assigned, acting as a Team Player at all times.

Job Requirements:

• Working knowledge of Cardiology terms & medical scheduling is needed.
• eCW experience, or several years of applicable Medical EHR/EMR experience, is required.
• Possess a kind, courteous, and professional patient-service manner.
• Be reliable & punctual, able to show up on time, with a can-do/happy-to manner.
• Display attention to detail and troubleshooting skills.
• Be proficient with general office tech, computers, phones, software, etc.
• Be willing to be cross trained for additional administrative duties & opportunities.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance & adherence to established records-release policies.
• Exercise good judgment, evaluating situations and making decisions
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18 & up, D.O.E.
